***LATEST FEEDBACK FROM 2010 SEASON***The Ready family from Oxfordshire have just returned from a fabulous fortnight at the villa!
Dear James and Steve,We'd like to say a big thank you! Your villa was lovely and had everything we needed; our daughters especially appreciated the WiFi as it did get rather hot some of the time so they just went indoors and logged on to their laptops which was great. M&S car hire were amazing, Pavlos was there waiting for us! He shared so much useful information with us such as parking, great sightseeing spots & loads more. It was brilliant having him meet us at the airport & drive us straight to your villa!
Graham & the excellent team from Lindos Property Management, who manage your villa, were really helpful, like Pavlos he gave us lots of useful info!
We generally ate out about every 3 days and used your brilliant BBQ the rest of the time. You had all the equipment we needed & I can’t really think that you are missing anything!
We thought it was all fantastic and had a simply brilliant time. On the last day, we went to Falaraki water park with the kids and even my parents went on the slides & lazy river etc. For us this was the perfect end to a holiday as the water park was clean, tidy, safe gave us all activities to do all day to make the day go quicker and it had showers and hair dryers so we could clean up before we flew.
My parents got a taxi from the water park to the airport so that was easy for them on their earlier flight, then later we just drove back to Haraki to pick up Pavlos who then drove us to the airport, so again, making it a very easy day!
All in all, we had an excellent holiday, you have both been so kind and helpful. We really appreciate the effort you put in!

The Grundy's recently returned from their second visit to the villa - early August 2010
Dear James and Steve,Sorry for the delay in dropping you a line. We've been camping which was a bit of a change from the luxury of your villa we'd become accustomed to!
We really enjoyed our second visit to your lovely villa. It was great returning knowing what was ahead of us! Ian had a bit of a nightmare having locked his blackberry in our car before flying but was able to complete some important work in the week so your Wi-Fi broadband was hugely appreciated!
Your villa is beautifully equipped, we loved the new BBQ area particularly. Rowan and Tate spent hours in the pool and, as they cant quite stand, it was great to have a couple of your provided inflatables!
The last day we spent at the Faliraki Water Park, the same as last year. Nice and active before the plane journey and they have showers and changing place etc so can get sorted. Economy Car Rentals were again absolutely fine.

Hi James and Steve,We all had a great time and as you'll see from our comments in your visitors book it's somewhere we would seriously consider returning to!
We visited numerous places along the east coast, favourites being Rhodes old town, Lindos and Haraki. The restaurants were all good, two in Lindos we can't remember the first one and the second was called Olympia (both with roof top views of the Acropolis), two in Haraki one was called Da Vinci (Italian) which was excellent value, a further two in Pefkos, Nickolas and Nostalgia and finally a barbecue at the villa.
Graham (from Lindos Property Management) checked that all was okay on the first morning and quickly sorted out a minor air-con unit problem. We watched a number of films in the evenings and on at least two days decided to just chill out all day around the pool.
M&S Rent a Car were spot on and very friendly.
So to summarise, a wonderful time in an impressive villa, well done!

The West family from Shropshire holidayed at Villa Lindos Blue from 10th - 17th July....they simply loved it!
"Hi James & Steve,We had a lovely stay in your fantastic villa, you really have made it very special. I just loved all the seating areas and managed to read a whole book relaxing and drinking rose wine (which I got quite a liking for!). The kids (if you can still call them kids) had a fun time in the pool which we would I am sure have died without as it was very hot, 43 degrees one day.
Our first night out (Joe’s birthday) we took your advice and went to Odessya and had a very nice typically Greek meal on the rooftop. We also went to the fish restaurant in Stegna one evening and had some great squid.
On our last day, as our flight wasn't until late evening we went to the Memories Hotel opposite Blue Line which we thought was fantastic. Had a lovely lunch and spent whole day there until about 5 when we left for Rhodes town. Flight delayed but now home and feeling very chilled and relaxed.
Economy Car Rentals were great although we ended up with a 9 seater mini bus!! My daughter had never driven a left sided vehicle before let alone a huge van but she did really well and drove us home on an evening.
Your fridge is a fabulous size and I only wish I could accommodate one like this in our chalet in France but there’s no room!
We were very grateful for the aircon in the bedrooms as I don’t think we could have slept without!
One suggestion: A light to shine on the bbq as once it is dark you really can’t see what you are doing or tell if things are ready or burnt. We did use the lanterns but if possible to install a light would be very useful.
You are very lucky to have such a wonderful holiday home and thank you once again for all your help and advice.

"Hello James & SteveWe've just returned from a great holiday. Your villa is wonderful, nothing to criticise at all. We loved the decor and the ouside sofas especially. A great spot for breakfast!
We took the car around the island, explored the west coast and Rhodes town as well as taking a day cruise to Turkey. The cruise was very relaxing just avoid the (free) coach trip to jewellery and carpet shops!
Graham and his team from Lindos Property Management were so friendly and keep your villa and gardens in super condition.

The Roche family from Ireland have just returned from "their best ever family holiday"!
Not wanting to give you guys big heads (although deservedly so!) we have just spent the best family holiday ever in Villa Lindos Blu! It was an amazing experience from start to finish.The villa was everything you described and more! Your attention to detail in everything (furnishings, decor, kitchen appliances, crockery , cutlery, bed linen, towels, lighting and more!). The welcome pack is such a thoughtful and generous offering. The pool area is beautiful and created a wonderful setting for our family barbeque's! (by the way we think your barbeque area is lovely).
Your villa is a credit to you both and you are fortunate in having a great team taking care of it in your absence. Thanks to Graham, Tracy and Will. They were so helpful and offered great advice. Baby Lynn kept us on our toes at times trying to protect your belonging she has lightening speed and busy little hands!
The family wedding we attended in "Memories" was one of the most beautiful and romantic ceremonies I have ever witnessed. Picture the scene - blue blue sky and sea changing colour as if layered from ice blue to blue blue and then in the distance green. The guest chairs on the beach were covered in ivory fabric and big bows secured the covers. White umbrellas were provided for sun shade. The groom and best man stood facing out to sea while we were made aware of the bride and her party descending the steps down to the beach. The dressed were simply beautiful and the bride was a classic vision. The dresses billowed in the slight warm breeze! Romantic and meaning full vows were exchanged and happy emotion was shared by all attending.
We enjoyed traditional Greek fare, dance and song!!!!
We catered allot in the villa but when we did eat out in was mostly in Lindos village trying a new restaurant each time and happy to say never disappointed. I have to say I am in love with Lindos I so love the old world charm of it.
We enjoyed the local beaches but my husband and I took time out from the rest of the family on a few mornings and made an early start to Golden Sand beach Agathi (not sure that's the correct spelling). While we, as in Paul and I, enjoyed chillax time the rest of the family covered the cultural and historical sights. Rhodes has so much to offer!
There is a million and one more things I could say in my enthusiasm but maybe another time. I can say our stay was too short and if you make your villa available to me and mine again we will return for sure!!!

Thank you also for the prompt return of security deposit, it has been such a pleasure doing business with you. Steve and yourself have been decent to a fault please know it is very much appreciated. You both deserve great success.

Hi James & Steve,When we arrived Pavlos from M&S Rent a Car was waiting! M&S were great, punctual & reliable which was a relief as it was a bit stressful flying in the middle of the night!
Your villa is fantastic, we loved it, it is the best holiday villa we've ever rented! Your kitchen had everything that we needed, the rooms were all beautiful and the beds were very comfortable. We loved your gardens and, of course, the pool is gorgeous. Graham (from Lindos Property Management) was great and very helpful and the pool was so perfectly clean!
The boys' feedback - "We loved the swimming pool and the beds we slept in. We also loved the garden Jenga and played dominos with the pieces. We liked the little birds that would come eat our breadcrumbs"
We've been to Rhodes once before in September so visiting in June was interesting because it is much greener. We loved Prassonissi, it is our favourite beach and we also loved driving into the mountains. Lindos was impressive and we went late in the day so it was quiet and managed to get some donkeys for the boys, even though they were going home. We drove into Lindos and ended up at one of the free carparks next to the donkey field & our children loved finding these donkeys. On our last day we went to Pefki and found the Flying Club cafe on the beach, the chap who runs it was so nice and gave our children a model plane. The Greeks really do adore children and it was a great experience for them to be noticed and treated with special attention wherever they went. A bit of a culture shock for them!
One point I must stress is how good you were at keeping us informed, such good communication....and your attention to detail was impressive. The fact you rang us with clarifications and again just before we left to wish us a happy holiday and check we had no more queries was so very reassuring.
We would love to return to your villa and will definitely recommend you to everyone we know planning a Rhodes holiday!

Hi James & Steve,Our flights both way were fine with no delays. It was nice to arrive in the day time which made finding the villa a 'piece of cake' with your directions.
As for your villa. Well, what can we say? You must have been v.good in a previous life to have such a lovely villa in this! To be fair, it's the way you have furnished it that makes it so nice. We had a chance to attend a BBQ at another similar villa in the line where the bride's parents were staying and, although nice, was not to your standard.
We couldn't have picked a better location for Lindos & St.Paul's bay only a short drive/walk away. It was also v.close to the Lindos Memories Hotel where our other sons & the younger members of the wedding party were staying. Very handy for last minute preparations!
The villa was very well equipped, lacking absolutely nothing we wanted during our stay. The linen, towels, cutlery, china & appliances etc. all of fine quality. The information folder very comprehensive. More like a home than a rental property. Our only regret was that we didn't use your fine new BBQ. We purchased the charcoal & firelighters but didn't find time to use them. We should've booked a longer stay!
The new addition of WiFi broadband was most welcomed by our son & partner. They were able to spend a little time keeping in touch with their business & keeping up-to-date with the welfare of their two dogs who were being looked after by a friend at their home.
Your onsite managers, Graham & Tracy were very helpful. We arrived early (around 3 o'clock) to unload because I had to return to the airport to collect my sister, who was arriving on a slightly later flight. Tracy was there to let us in, the villa all ready for us. Many thanks for that! The pool guy was also v.cheerful leaving the pool immaculate without any interference to our holiday.
The villa was very quite, shielded from any road noise by its position on the hill overlooking the picturesque bay, yet very close to the restaurants & life of Lindos.
The main purpose for our visit was, of course, our son's wedding, however, we did fit in a little site-seeing around Lindos, the Acropolis & Rhodes Old town. The weather in the high 20's & low thirties was more conducive to relaxing around the pool, which was undertaken with gusto!
Overall, we had a lovely week, in a lovely villa which was enjoyed by all. Thank you for that. We would recommend it to anyone.

Hi James and Steve,Just a quick note to say thanks so much for the stay in your villa over the last week. Graham was looking out for us when we arrived and he introduced himself. We wanted for nothing in the villa as you have provided everything conceivable that anyone could need! We were surprised at just how spacious the villa is as the photos on your website do not do it justice! The first morning I woke at 5.30am to the best dawn view ever over Navarone Bay! Just lying in bed watching it...wish I'd had the camera ready but it's something you have to see with your own eyes!
Staying at your villa really helped to make the holiday - fantastic views, private pool, BBQ, comfy beds, everything you would want at home and more. We could tell it is somewhere that has had love spent on it! The welcome pack was very much appreciated too - hope to return soon!

Hi James and Steve,We've had a fantastic week! We loved Lindos, such a beautiful place. The weather was brilliant. Your villa is wonderful! We had a very comfortable stay. It was well equipped and had everything we needed. The furniture, linen and towels were all of high quality. We loved the pool and big table and chairs outside, we spent a lot of the week relaxing by the pool. Little Rowan thoroughly enjoyed himself! Your 'welcome pack' was much appreciated as we arrived quite late and didn't get to go shopping so was good to be able to have a cup of tea and toast in the morning!
We would not hesitate in staying at your lovely villa again, we will also be recommending it to others!

Hi James and Steve,We had a fantastic time in Rhodes, the villa was amazing! It was immaculate, huge and the facilities were spot on. The pool was cleaned regularly and Graham was always around and extremely helpful! He gave us all lifts into Lindos on the first night before we hired cars, booked taxis for our trip back to airport, gave us directions, even sorted us out with crates of beer!
We have to say the communication from you guys has been brilliant! It was great to recieve so much info from you and to know we could always phone you if we had any questions.
Everyone has said they would love to come back and would definitely recommend your villa to friends, so look out for more bookings coming your way!

The villa and pool were even better than we remembered and there was everything there we could have needed, and more! Graham was friendly, helpful, and very interesting to talk to. This time we ventured further afield, to both the water park in Faliraki (well worth the money if you have children) and the west coast of the island (very scenic and less commercialised, we recommend Monolithos Castle and Siana). To eat out we recommend Lardos village for excellent service and food which is better value for money than Lindos. However mostly we enjoyed spending our holiday at your wonderful, unique villa playing in the pool! Thank you once again for all your care and attention.

We had real confidence, from our very first dealings with you, that it was going to be a lovely place to stay and it more than lived up to our expectations. So thank you for everything. Having returned to Lindos after 20 years we were so pleased to see that it hadn't changed nearly as much as we were worried it would have done. We returned to our old haunts and even met some familiar faces from all those years ago. We spent many an eve at Alex's restaurant in town on the rooftop-very friendly and very good food. We paid numerous visits to the watersports jetty which the kids loved and they also want me to mention the great 2 days we had at the Water Park. It wasn't too crowded and there were rides to suit all! Hope you're enjoying your Summer and thanks again for letting us experience your wonderful villa

"Hi James and Steve,Initially, let me just thank you for letting us spend the week at your beautiful Villa we had a fantastic time. It’s virtually impossible to fault anything, other than possibly the height of the door in the bedroom ensuite, where I kept banging my head! But even that was probably more down to the Mythos and my clumsiness! Graham, Tracey and the rest of your villa management team were really helpful and friendly and Pavlos and Marie from your highly recommended M&S Rent A Car were like old friends! They invited us to sit outside their home with them in Haraki and meet their family over a cool drink.
We spent most of our time in Lindos and catching up with old friends from previous holidays and would definitely recommend a visit to Ambrosia for a meal, the food and service were excellent. I would also recommend a visit to the Rainbird Taverna in Lindos town which overlooks the bay, breathtaking both day and night. Thanks again we had a great time. If you do have any more late deals please let us know because we may be persuaded to slip another visit in sometime!

"Hi James and Steve,We've had a simply terrific time in your amazing villa. We all agree that it ranks as one of the best holidays we can remember, and certainly the best self-catering. Personally, I loved the location (as well as the terrific Villa!). I'm not one to be right in the centre of town, and having the car was really easy. Also, we found taxis would come out to the villa and collect etc - so it really is a perfect oasis. I can't quite believe I was lying on the beach a few days ago, it's so cold here!
Your villa had everything we could wish for & definitely had the feeling of a home away from home, rather than of a "holiday home"! We all loved the luxury Egyptian cotton bedding and towels...another great aspect was the tons of storage space in the bedrooms, we could truly unpack and live in the villa properly! It was also lovely and quiet at night (and during the day for that matter).- The upkeep of the beautiful Blue Line development where your villa is located is impeccable....your pool cleaners & gardeners were conspicious throughout our stay.
The villa was spotlessly clean when we arrived, and not too bad when we left! It was MUCH more spacious than I thought it was going to be...you definitely need to promote the large size of the property!
The air-con was great, extremely effective...and we certainly needed it even so late in the season! In fact Simon nearly froze me to an ice-cube on the first night by setting it to 16 degrees or something ridiculous! I reset to 21 degrees for the rest of the holiday, although we only ran it in our room for a couple of hours before bed.
Your kitchen and everything you provide in it is fantastic - this aspect was far superior to any other self-catering type holidays we've had, where you usually tend to get an odd collection of second-hand utensils and cutlery and no useable knives! Your Guest Manual was also great, although I admit to only reading it near the end of the holiday!
We were very happy with the welcome pack awaiting us on arrival - many thanks for that. Your book library is extensive and I read 2 of your books...so thoughtful of you to provide them. Giant Jenga was also a big hit with the kids, but not in the way you might expect. It was used to build hangers and houses for James' little airplanes and cars, and they created a whole imaginary game out of it.
Our main "Lindos tip" is for for guests with kids we would recommend the main beach in Lindos. You can park right in front of it for 3 Euros (we always got a space), it had a toilet and changing block on the beach, it was spacious, and the sea was the perfect depth and calmness for kids. The cafe near the toilet block was nice as well. However, it is worth going down to your favourite beach with the kids on donkey's at least once, that was definitely Charlotte's best part of the holiday.

"Dear James & Steve,We had a fantastic time at your Villa - thank you. It is beautiful. You have made it very special. It is located in a lovely quiet spot and is a great get away from it all place to be. I think you have thought of everything. There is not one fault I can find with the whole place.
The pool had warmed up nicely by the time we got there and the weather was fantastic 24 degrees at 11pm!! We had peaceful breakfasts by the pool and then had some great mornings/lunches out sightseeing and then the afternoon in the pool with the football!!! Great fun! It was just the relaxing break that we all needed. WE WILL RETURN!! Thank you very much for all your help to make it such a fantastic holiday"!
